We still wear poppies, and the money...Amen, Jennie. We still wear poppies, and the money raised from them goes to supporting injured soldiers. The children had a minute's silence at 11 a.m. at school, and most businesses do too. I was in Tesco's (supermarket) once on remembrance day and they called over the tannoy for a minute's silence there too - it was eerie but moving. We also have a minute's silence this coming Sunday in Sacrament meeting.
