A V-formation flock of geese seems to have one member of the group as the leader, but each member takes its turn at the point of the V, leading the way as the others in the formation honk in encouragement. The geese stay together, even when one becomes sick or injured; the group stays with it until it is well enough to continue the journey at its regular pace.

A New Venture
Hi there! We're a friendly group of writers off on a grand adventure. We decided that we wanted a place to post our thoughts on reading, writing and just about anything else under the sun. We hope you'll feel free to respond- ask questions, make comments, and we really just hope it'll be a fun place to spend a few minutes every day.

You do good work, lady! Thanks for getting this going. Lynn
As I ponder the significance of this blogging adventure, lyrics to a song I wrote a long time ago come to mind . . .
"It's the adventure of a lifetime, a lifetime of a adventure,
A time when we'll discover who we are and what we'll be---
The adventure of a lifetime, a lifetime of adventure,
And the journey I will take is up to me!"
Good job, Nancy. ;)As Lynn already said, you do good work. Let the adventure(s) begin.
I'll be at the temple all day, but I'll do my best to add some thoughts tonight or in the morning. I'm looking forward to this adventure.
The word adventure is mentioned in several of the comments and all I can say is that I can't think of anyone else I'd rather have an adventure with than the amazing ladies of the V-formation. And to all those who visit our blog, welcome. Prepare to be amazed at the collective wisdom of these women!
I love the Lesson of the Geese! Here's a great link to the story...http://www.ullerymanagement.com/geese.htm
Thanks for the link, vicki!
